10 of Our Favorite Up-And-Coming Fashion Influencers

10 of Our Favorite Up-And-Coming Fashion Influencers

20th Mar 2018

Fashion bloggers have been shaping the fashion industry since about the mid-2000s when the blogosphere consisted of hobby bloggers and modest OOTDs. Today, the big names in blogging sit front row at Fashion Week, publish best-selling books, and hire full-time teams to run their once personal blogs. With such a large production, many bloggers (and now YouTubers and Instagram stars) often lose their sense of authenticity.

We’re not saying we won’t always be true to the veterans of the industry that really made a name for fashion bloggers. We just think that sometimes it’s fun to shake things up and follow some bloggers that haven’t quite seen their moment in the spotlight (yet). We love these bloggers because they’re far easier to relate to than some of the A-list influencers and their luxury products, immaculate homes, and 5-star vacations. These are bloggers who have been working hard to carefully curate a name for themselves in the competitive world of fashion, and we think that hard work is just about to pay off.

If you’re anything like us, you’ll love the ease with which all of the influencers style cute outfits that are attainable, on trend, and inspiring. So, get ready to hit the “follow” button on Instagram because these girls are about to dominate the fashion scene.

Dessert for Brunch

We love the laid-back style of this Texas-native blogger. Esmeralda is a student so her looks are perfect for dashing to class or grabbing coffee with your study group. As more of a lifestyle blogger, Dessert for Brunch is also packed with goals worthy foodie pics, makeup hauls, and lifestyle advice. Follow her for student style inspiration, foodie guides, everyday outfit guides.

Southern Curls and Pearls

Caitlin is a UNC Chapel Hill grad and an alumnus of Kappa Delta Sorority. We’re in love with her pretty yet laid-back style and beautiful photos. Her vacations are ultimate #travelgoals, and you absolutely have to see her closet. Very much a lifestyle blogger as well, Southern Curls and Pearls provides the perfect balance of fashion, OOTDs worth stealing, travel inspiration, and even book recommendations. Follow her for beautiful photos, travel inspiration, and tasteful peppiness.

Giedre is a YouTuber who really understands the art of dressing for your body. Her channel is all about practicality and sharing her wisdom as a model and stylist with viewers. Follow her for basic style tips, how to dress for your body, and figure flattering tips.

Her Brave Taste

A Texas native and UT Austin graduate, Nicole’s blog is packed full of awesome cute boho outfits, budget-friendly buys, and lifestyle guides. We love how polished yet attainable her looks are. Follow her for style steals, quirky outfit ideas, and inspiring “Brave Girl” advice.

The only Instagram-only babe to make the list, Claudia is a Portuguese style blogger with a serious eye for style. She dominates the popular style site, LookBook with her minimalist fits. Follow her for amazing Insta style shots, minimalist fashion, and great fits.

Ethel Grace

Talia, the voice behind Ethel Grace is an Atlanta-based blogger with a love for personal style and home design. Her blog reads more like a fashion diary than a true blog--so you know you’re getting the real deal here. She does a weekly outfits recap each Monday of the seven amazing outfits she wore the week prior. Follow her for a consistent stream of content, realistic outfit inspiration, and authenticity.

Closet Vomit

Ashley at Closet Vomit consistently publishes engaging and authentic posts along with perfectly quirky outfit inspiration. Having recently moved to New York City, her apartment is serious #interiorgoals but completely realistic and doable for us non-interior designers. Follow her for smart content, NYC living inspiration, quirky outfits, and all-around cool-girl lifestyle tips.

We’re particularly biased because Caroline, the founder of Unfancy, happens to be a fellow West-Texas girl. Focusing on sustainable and responsible style, Caroline’s Abilene roots really show through in her style and home. She dominates the ‘capsule wardrobe’ thing while focusing on personal style over trends. Follow her for capsule wardrobe inspiration, ‘mix + match + repeat’ outfit ideas, and closet-curating tips.

Cheat Chic

Cheat Chic is run by Rocky, a Miami-based blogger who grew weary of the large price tag often attached to the clothing top bloggers feature. She created Cheat Chic with the mission of bringing affordable fashion inspiration and trendy pieces to us budget-friendly fashionistas. Follow her for cute outfits that are affordable but still look expensive, hilarious memes, and great style basics.

EJ Style

Emma Hill is the fashion genius behind this super aesthetically-pleasing London-based blog. Emma’s style is somehow simultaneously trendy and timeless. She masters the capsule wardrobe look with just the right amount of trend. Her picks are usually a good balance of luxury and affordable, making her a great source of style inspiration. Follow her for the latest trends, style inspiration, and visually appealing aesthetics.
